Oregon Cascade Chapter 101st Airborne division Association Picnic (1 June, 2002)


The Oregon Cascade Chapter of the 101st Airborne Division Association held its annual D-Day Commemorative Barbecue on Saturday 1 June at the home of Jerry Gomes in Sandy, Oregon.

This year the 3/505th was represented by Andrew Reed, Gerry Peterson, and Sam Kimpton.

Trooper Kimpton caught a case of KP and was found assisting Kaye Gomes and Don Malarkey'w wife in preparing the miriad of delectables which were served at the function.

A lot of the old notables were present and a great deal of fun was had by all.
