With only two weeks notice our friends with I Co. 504th PIR (PNWHG) succesfully arranged for the 505th's participation in Fort Lewis' Armed Forces Day festivities on 18 May. Vern McNulty brought three people from Fort Lewis, three of who had PCS'ed from Bragg. At least two of these were also members of the 82nd Airborne Division Museum Living History Detachement. We contributed inspection layouts, two jeeps and 7 "All Americans" to the display. The total number of 82nd living history personel numbered at ten persons-a record turnout.

The PNWHG guys have recently shifted their emphasis from Battle reenacting to living history and put together an impressive display.
