Military Vehicle Collector of Oregon's Annual Show and Sale, Camp Withycombe, Clackamas Oregon (27-28, August, 2002)

Andrew Reed and Sam Kimpton set up an artifact display at the Military Vehicle Collector Club of Oregons annual Show and Sale at Camp Withycombe on 27-28 August. The display was met with much interest by attendees to the event and we recieved positive feedback on both the display at the show and the larger display at the MVCCO's Fort Stevens campout and living history weekend in August. Airborne veterans at the show and sale included Rod Van Wicklin (187th Parachute Engineer Battalion), Bill Wood (a 504th PIR pathfinder from Operation MARKET), and one unidentified Rigger of 1960's service (101st Airborne Division).

Among the items seen and, in some cases, obtained at the show included an origional cotton invasion flag from the Normandy invasion, an Mechanic's knit cap, and a BC-611 "handy Talky".

The event was also attended by new members Tim Waggoner and Dana Geraths.
