Gryphon Bouviers Litter Plans

We breed infrequently, but our breedings are planned with the intent to "better" the breed, both physically and mentally. We studiously follow pedigrees, and have an extensive knowledge of Bouviers in both North America and in Holland. All of our litters are planned with the pedigrees and backgrounds of the dogs in mind.

With Gabbie's unfortunate death, I am not going to breed any litters for a while. The honest answer is that I am having a difficult time with her loss, and with my heart being heavy I'm consequently not oriented towards any breedings/litters at the current moment. As soon as my orientation is better leveled and balanced, information will become available on this page for your interest.

Winter '01 Breeding
The litter of Gabbie and Kosz produced well, and are growing adolescents with good potential. Look for them in various parts of the country as they grow up in the Show Ring. For a four generation pedigree of this breeding, click on the link.

This was an exciting line breeding on the great Neth/Am Ch Tino Faisca vd Vanenblikhoeve (and on Dayan Claudia).....

• Kosz was a TopTen Bouvier for three years, from 1993-1995, and is the recipient of multiple Group I's and two Specialty Selects. Kosz was well respected by both North American judges and European judges, earning Excellent marks under all the European judges to whom he was shown. Kosz' grandsire is the famous Tino Faisca vd Vanenblikhoeve.
• Gabbie was a very exciting Bouvier Bitch, with a supurb pedigree, and was ranked as the #2 Bitch in the US for 2000 (and was the #5 in 1999), and for both 2001 and 2000 was a Finalist in the ABdFC Top Twenty Competition.
  Gabbie very quickly obtained her AKC and CKC Championships, with very limited showing. She had significant wins at the '00 British Columbia BdF Club Specialty, '99 Portland KC Bench Show Supported Entry and the '00 Puyallup/Portland Winter Clusters, as well as finishing her Canadian Championship by going undefeated from the Classes with two Specialty BOW, and a pre-Specialty Booster BOW/BOS. Gabbie's sire is the famous IronEyes, and Gabbie's dam is a breeding of Tino and Xana (dam of the Aristes "H" litter - HotShot, HotRod, and Dragon).
