| Here are some (hopefully) interesting and informative things about Ken Hampton. For the insatiably curious (or masochistic), links take you to possibly more than anyone would want to know. | ![]() |
Over the years I have worked in high-tech field sales, in technical marketing, as a teacher and training course developer, as an engineering project manager, in international business, and as a tropospheric scatter and radar engineer. Work has taken me to places as far-flung as the high Arctic, Poland, and to Romania. I have had the good fortune to work for such world-class companies as Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, Tektronix, Fluke, Zehntel, and ITT, and for smaller companies such as Atlas Telecom and Summit Design in areas including computers, RDBMS, ATE, EDA, telephony, and electronic instrumentation.
Along the way I have earned undergraduate degrees in electronics engineering, computer science, and business, and masters degrees in marketing, strategic planning, and organizational development. Most recently I engaged in PhD level studies in modeling and simulation, and human performance technology in the Systems Science department at Portland State University.
