Dynamite, by Mercutio (mercutio@europa.com)
Pairing: Justin and AJ
Words: detonate; vermilion; confiscate; fuck
Justin stormed back into the house, pausing for a second when he
hit the french doors from the back yard to rearrange his expression
into something a little less threatening.
"I didn't hear any explosions," AJ said, handing him a glass.
Justin eyed it dubiously. The chances of there being alcohol in
something AJ gave him were about the same as Lance going down on
Britney.
"Suit yourself. Thought you might like something to cool you
down."
There *were* ice cubes in whatever-it-was. Justin shrugged, took
it and drank it. Ice water. "There's not enough water in it to
cool me down. Not after those morons tried to detonate a stick of
dynamite in the bushes."
"Real dynamite?"
"According to Lance, yeah." Lance was the detail man. Justin had
been occupied with sitting on Chris at the time. He didn't trust
the glint in AJ's eyes. "It's been confiscated, and no, I'm not
going to tell you where it is."
AJ gave him an innocent look. "I wasn't going to ask."
"Lance won't tell you either." AJ looked past him. Justin turned
his head and saw Lance leading Joey by the ear, still lecturing
him.
AJ clapped him on the shoulder. "Great party, Timberlake." He
brushed by him, and went outside.
Justin grinned. No problem there. Lance was the responsible one.
He wouldn't let anything happen.
He watched AJ intercept Lance and Joey. Lance let go of Joey and
turned to AJ. Joey disappeared back behind him -- why was Lance
letting him go? He knew the kind of trouble Chris and Joey could
get up to. And Lance was smiling at AJ. A pleased little half-grin.
Wait a minute. Hadn't Lance always wanted to fuck AJ?
Justin closed the door firmly, and leaned against it to keep anyone
else from going outside. Sometimes, things were just inevitable.
There was no use fighting it. It was like the time JC had decided
that vermilion was the new 'in' color and had to have everything
that color, despite the fact that anyone with any sense would have
realized that 'vermilion' was just a fancy name for red, and red
clashed with JC's predominant wardrobe color, namely pink. No,
some things just had to be allowed to work themselves out.
Besides, he was pretty sure Lance knew where the fire extinguisher
was.
