Trimmed F-704 and Fitted Left Gear Leg Mount - 1.5 hrs.

Tonight is a repeat of what I did last night, except for the left gear leg bracket, etc. I was able to accomplish the same things in one hour less time. That's typical when you do something more than once. Tasks seem to come in pairs when you're building a symetrical airplane. Anyway, here's how it went:

Since I knew what I was facing tonight, I went right to work to cut the notch in the left bracket, and do the cookie-cut. I won't repeat a lot of pictures, but here are a couple shots of the left gear leg bracket, all fitted and bolted in place. Remember, everything is still upside down at this point.

I think it looks cool to see them both mounted on the plane! I can't wait for the day when I slip the gear legs into these things.
